Disabled Persons

On November 15, 2023, the Traffic Privileges Act Act on Privileges in Traffic (Act on Privileges in Traffic (nn.hr)) entered into force, which regulates the issuance of ID cards for persons with disabilities (ID cards).
Smart cards issued by company Hrvatske Autoceste d.o.o. are valid until the issuance of National ID cards for persons with disabilities, and no longer than six months from the date of entry into force of this Act.

If a passenger vehicle is towing a trailer, and there is a disabled person in it, who has been issued a National ID card for disabled persons with the right to the privilege of exemption from toll payment in accordance with the Traffic Privileges Act, then a toll in the amount of the IA group toll is charged for the trailer vehicles.
